Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using AFK. They outline your rights, responsibilities, and the rules governing your use of our platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AutoAFK ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Description of Service
AutoAFK provides a cloud-based platform for running automated Minecraft bots ("AFK bots") on behalf of registered users. The Service includes a web dashboard, real-time bot management via WebSocket, chat logging, auto-reconnect, and proxy assignment. Features are subject to the plan you subscribe to.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf. By using the Service you represent that all registration information you submit is truthful and accurate.
4. Accounts & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. AutoAFK will not be liable for any loss arising from unauthorised access resulting from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
5. Minecraft Account Credentials
To operate bots you will link one or more Microsoft/Minecraft accounts. Your OAuth refresh tokens are stored encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and are never transmitted to third parties. You represent that you are the legitimate owner of, or have authorisation to use, any Minecraft account you link to the Service.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) infringe the intellectual property rights of others; (c) harass, abuse, or harm other players; (d) perform actions that violate the terms of service of any Minecraft server you connect to; (e) attempt to gain unauthorised access to AutoAFK systems or other users' accounts; or (f) resell or sublicense access to the Service without prior written consent.
7. Subscription & Billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis via Stripe. You authorise us to charge your payment method on each renewal date. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 14 days' notice delivered via email or in-app notification. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access to paid features continues until that date. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no warranty that bots will remain undetected by any specific Minecraft server. Use of the Service is at your sole risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AutoAFK and its affiliates, officers, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to AutoAFK in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
